Micro markets

An open store in your breakroom.

Your team picks what they want off an open shelf and taps to pay at the kiosk. Over 450 items, from snacks and drinks to fresh meals cooked in our Logan kitchen. We provide and install the cabinetry, coolers and kiosk at no cost to you.

What you get

A small store, built to your room.

A micro market replaces the machines with open shelving, glass-front coolers and a self-checkout kiosk. Nothing is behind glass, so people can read a label before they buy. The cabinetry is built to the space you already have rather than dropped in as a standard unit. Most rooms run 24 hours a day. Inventory is monitored remotely, so we usually know a shelf is low before anyone on your side notices.

Before you ask

Questions about micro markets.

What does a micro market cost to put in?

Nothing. We cover the cabinetry, the coolers, the kiosk and the installation. Before that you get a complimentary consultation and a no-obligation design, so you can see the room drawn out before you decide anything.

What does it cost on an ongoing basis?

That depends on your budget and what you want the room to do. The market can pay for itself through sales and cost you nothing. Or you can subsidize selected items, or load allowances for your team. It is flexible to your budget and your objectives.

How do people pay?

Tap, mobile wallet, credit and debit, or a market card. Employers can also fund the market directly or load an allowance onto an employee's account, which is how most companies turn it into a benefit rather than a purchase.

How much space do we need?

Less than most people expect. We have built markets into rooms that previously held two machines, and full rooms with seating. All you really need is available wall space, power and ideally internet. If you are not sure the room works, we will tell you on the walkthrough rather than after.

Is anything going to get stolen?

Shrink on an open market runs low, and it is our problem rather than yours. The kiosk, the camera and the product mix are ours to manage. If a site does have a problem we adjust the layout or move to a smart cooler, which unlocks with a card.

How often does it get restocked?

Service frequency is built around your traffic, and most sites are serviced daily. Restocking is driven by what actually sold rather than a fixed list, and fresh items are rotated ahead of their dates on every visit.
