Can I Get a Micro Market for My Business? The Short Answers

The questions Utah employers actually ask on a first call, answered briefly. Headcount, cost, contracts, payment, installation and what happens when something breaks.

These are the questions that come up on a first call, with short answers. If yours is not here, phone and ask.

How many people do I need?

Roughly twenty five on site during the day for a full micro market. That is not a sales threshold, it is the point where fresh food turns over fast enough to stay fresh. Below it, a smart cooler or refrigerated vending does the same job at a size that works.

Does it really cost nothing?

Yes, with one honest exception: the electricity for the coolers is yours. Everything else, meaning design, cabinetry, equipment, the kiosk, installation, the first fill, restocking and repairs, is ours. No setup fee and no monthly charge.

So how do you make money?

On what your team buys. It is the same arrangement as a vending machine, which is why there is a headcount floor. A market that does not sell does not pay for itself, which is also why we will tell you if your site is too small.

Is there a contract?

No term. There is a short service agreement covering access and liability, and no minimum period. If it is not working, tell us and we take it out at our cost.

How do people pay?

Card, tap or mobile wallet at the kiosk. Most people are through in under fifteen seconds. If you want to subsidize prices for your team, that is set up at the kiosk and we invoice you the difference.

What gets stocked?

Several hundred items rather than the forty a machine holds. Fresh sandwiches, wraps, salads and breakfast from our Logan kitchen, plus drinks, snacks and the usual convenience lines. You can request items and they go in on the next visit.

How does restocking work?

The kiosk reports what sold, so we come when the data says to rather than on a fixed calendar. Fresh items are rotated on every visit. Nobody on your side is involved.

How long does installation take?

Usually a single day, and we will do it outside working hours if that suits. Your team walks in the next morning to a stocked market.

What if something breaks?

You call us and we fix it. It is our equipment, so there is no bill and no warranty argument. A cooler fault also alerts us before anyone reports it.

What about theft?

The honest answer is that a small amount of shrink is normal and it is priced in. It is our risk, not yours, and in practice it stays low because it is a workplace where people know each other. In a genuinely public space we would recommend a cooler that locks instead.

Do you cover my area?

Cache Valley, the Ogden and Davis corridor, Salt Lake Valley, Utah County and the Park City area. Check the service area page for the full city list, or phone and ask.

What is the first step?

A free walkthrough. Twenty minutes in your breakroom, then a recommendation you are free to turn down. Call (435) 512-2845.
